A Word of Encouragement to you.

I will bring him near to me and he will come close to me? For who is he who will devote himself to be close to me? Declares the Lord” Jermiah 30:21b

As I was praying today, I recalled this verse from my Bible reading in the morning.  So, I became quiet before the Lord, and listened to what He would want to say to me.  This is what came to my mind.

Who will dare draw near to Me? Will you put away what distracts you?

Who will draw near to Me as you face challenges, sickness, sorrows and losses.

Who will draw near to Me when your heart is overwhelmed with fear of an unknown future, or troubles that keep rolling in. Am I not with you? Do I not hold you in my righteous right hand.

Who will draw near to Me and be still? You are in such a rush, sometimes you treat me like a drive thru.

I am not one.

I can move quickly and sometimes I do, then there are the other times, I do not. Remember, My timing is not yours.

Sometimes My beloved, I long for you to linger in My presence. Learn to sit in the silence.

In My presence is peace and there you will find much needed rest for your soul.

Let me help you untangle the mess that haunts you. I am the Author of wisdom. My eye is on you. I know exactly what you are facing. You are never alone.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. “Matthew 11: 28-30
